The first annual Cloth n’ Twine Bar Tape Workshop is coming soon to a COOL bike shop near you — if you live near Cool Bikes North in Madison, WI, that is.
Basic wrapping techniques for flat bars, drop bars, and twine finishing will all be covered in this one-night-only course. Registration includes the cost of two rolls (one handlebar’s worth, usually) of Newbaum’s cotton cloth bar tape in a color of your choice. Rolls of twine in natural and black will be available for use. Get ready to open your visual and tactile senses to the boundless possibilities of handlebar treatments based in natural materials. Fiber arts, by bike!
